Avita 06 Successfully Challenges E-NCAP

On March 21, 2025, Avita Technology's second luxury sedan, the Avita 06 (inquire for price | check specifications), successfully passed the 50% overlap head-on collision test at the China Automotive Technology and Research Center (Tianjin) Co., Ltd., marking its first global attempt at E-NCAP 2026. The Avita 06 is scheduled to begin pre-sales on March 27 and officially launch in April.

E-NCAP 2026 is a new standard in European automotive safety performance testing, to be implemented in 2026, and is considered the most stringent safety test in Europe. The Avita 06's first test was a 50% overlap head-on collision test, with the relative speed of the vehicles reaching 100 km/h, a typical speed for sudden accidents. Upon impact, the Avita 06's frontal compartment immediately collapsed to absorb the collision energy, and the airbags deployed instantly, protecting the occupants in the first instance. After the collision, the A-pillar was undamaged, the windshield was intact, all four doors opened normally, the E-Call system was activated immediately, the lower wall panel of the passenger compartment was undamaged and there was no intrusion, and the dummy's feet, hands, face and other vulnerable parts were unharmed.
